Mae'n ddrwg gennym, nid yw'r cofnod hwn ar gael yn y Gymraeg.

We are delighted to announce the full programme for performances on the Eisteddfod Field during the festival.  These complement and add to the competitions in the Pavilion and the evening concerts.  This year sees the launch of ‘Access All Areas’, a Day of Arts in the Community on the Sunday of the festival as well as a great variety of acts and entertainment on each day.  A Ground Admission Ticket gives you great value – and a place in the unreserved seating in the Pavilion too (subject to availability – and you can upgrade to a reserved on the day too).

Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday / Sunday

International Children’s Day: From the Plains to the Desert Etran Finatawa: Accept an invitation to join in with the hypnotic sounds of six fabulous musicians from one of the poorest areas of the world; Etran Finatawa - the ‘Stars of Tradition’ - founded to unite the Tuareg and Wodaabe Funlani tribes in Niger, bring to Llangollen their unique sound-pictures of the desert. Dressed in long embroidered tunics, turbans and ostrich feathers, as well as painted faces, they combine singing with string and percussion instruments and have gained a cult following in their native land. They will even encompass ‘Desert Blues’ for International Youth Day! Magnolia Sisters: “Lapin, Lapin…”: Whether about a dancing rabbit, a jumping frog, or a Louisiana wedding, the music of Sarah Savoy and the Cajuns is bound to have your feet tapping and your mouths opening! The whole Savoy family has been showcasing Cajun music over many years, and the band’s workshops and activities for children are known the world over. There are honky-tonk tunes, waltzes and a cappella singing – and huge amounts of fun guaranteed!
